April 28, 2016
Born in Tauranga, NZ and currently residing in Southern California, Rebecca "Possum" Torr competed for New Zealand at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. This is what it's like to live a day in her #PAXlife.

What is your favorite PAX feature?

There's only one button and the lights tell me everything I need to know. It's super easy to use!

What makes you happiest?

Riding pow, making music, and being around animals.

What should everyone try at least once in their life?

Snowboarding!

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

This isn’t really advice that's been given to me personally, but it's one of my favorite quotes ever: "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind" -Dr. Seuss

Who are your heroes?

My parents! Life wasn’t easy growing up, but without them I wouldn’t be who I am today, I’m super grateful for those two legends.

What is on your bookshelf?

I don’t really have a permanent residence to have a book shelf, but the three books that have been living with me recently are Shantaram, The Power of Now, and The Mental Edge.

What is your greatest indulgence?

Most recently my favorite has been Flaming Hot Cheetos!

What quote do you live by?

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

What item in your closet do you wear the most?

Gotta be my snowboard pants, I wear them pretty much every day! To be honest, now that it's starting to get warm out I’m looking forward to changing that to my wetsuit and golf attire.

What are the last three items on your credit card statement?

Food. Always food.

What is on your bucket list?

My bucket list is so lengthy! but my top four right now are:

1. Ride pow in Japan.

2. Surf trip to Indonesia and travel around Bali, Thailand, Sri Lanka, etc.

3. Volunteer at the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa.

4. Snowboard in Alaska.
